    Thumbs up Fraggles - Audi A4 (B6) 1.8T (page13) ....(Picture Heavy)

Hi, well I've been putting off doing a readers ride thread for a while, I like reading other peoples and I'm in the process of doing some similar work on mine so I guess it's about time to get this going.

I'd been looking for something to replace my 2 previous cars as I wasn't using them both since we moved, I had and Alfa 156 2.5 V6 q-system as my comfy driver and a Clio 172 tuned and stripped out fast road / track car as my toy and what with not using them both and the cost of tax and insurance I decided to go for one car that could do it all.

So after searching all manner of motors from Audi S8 to Clio Trophy's I made my mind up somewhere in the middle and settled on the Cupra R Leon I had up to 6K to spend and I ended up with a nice lump of change.

I brought my 05 Leon Cupra R in Feb 2011 it had 76K on the clock and looked immaculate inside and out. A previous owner had tinted the rear windows and put on a cat back stainless exhaust which incidentally there wasn't a receipt for and I can't see a name on it so haven't a clue who made it...... so anyone with a clue from the pics feel free to pitch in please. It also had the wheels done and the Brembos have been cleaned up before and an Alpine head unit added apart from this the engine was standard as is the interior so I brought it!

here's a pic from the Advert.

Since owning it I have steadily been planning where I want to take this project but the main criteria is that it has to be usable as we have family all over the south of England, has to be fast and has to look the part. Easy really then!

So I had done a few bits to it to date in this order........

    Retro fit cruise control
    Fabia Rear wiper
Drilled & smoothed airbox c/w - Pipercross Air filter + 76mm cold air feed
    Alpine iPod connector
    Glovebox liner
    Full Service
    Turbosmart Dual port Kompact DV
    Standard “New” aerial
Paint badges and wing mirrors Gloss Black
Angle eye driving lights (not wired in yet)

So this is how she stands today....... must also mention that I should probably by shares in DoDo Juice as I love their products and have a bit of a condition when it comes to cleaning my car!!

So there it is, be good to here your thoughts..... For the very near future I have planned and have on order a Scorpion de-cat and Badger 5 3"TIP then it's off to the rolling road and more power!!

    Thanks for looking

    UPDATE
Just got back from the Fedex depot cos we had a parcel to pick up and this has turned up! Scorpion De-Cat

Now to get the time to fit it.......
This is actually the second to last part I'll need before it goes in for the stage 2 remap so I'm well happy with it, looks great quality.

And that brings me on to my next question...... has anyone any idea what exhaust this is fitted to my car??? Have checked underneath and there's no sign of any name on there it's a full cat back system so any ideas???

Also last question (for now) who should I go see for the re-map??

    Thanks for looking
