i got a momo wheel and boss has any1 else changed the std wheel b4??

disconnect the battery for 10mins before you even attempt removal!!
in the back of the steering wheel there's 2 holes - turn the wheel 90degrees to get access. Airbag is held in with 2 spring clips, you need a small screwdriver in the hole to prise the spring aside in each one and release the airbag - the clip prises outwards away from the wheel centre.

yeah and this will also disable all your other airbags...you can either overcome this with a resistor or you can turn that airbag off with vag-com
can any1 do it or know any1 that can????????

it woud be wise to inform the insurance copany that you have dissabled the airbag too,just in case

i've got a mate in Bridgend with vag com, he's just got the full version so should be able to help with the light
