hello my remote for my headunit has gone up the swanny. i've discovered that its the buttons. the bottoms of them arent contacting very well. does anyone know if you need to use metal to pad them out. or where i can get replacement keypad from.

It depends how the buttons work but normally yeah you could use a bit of foil or copper or something to pad it out

cool, because i tried piece's of an old card and its padded it out but still not working, so thought i'd find out if you need a metalic backing. will try it tomorrow cheers
